Murrayfield Area Profile

Murrayfield is a lovely, quiet eastern suburb of Pretoria and lies almost midway between the suburbs of Lynnwood, Die Wilgers and Meyerspark, on both sides of the N4, east of the centre of Pretoria. The townhouses, houses, and flats are prettily maintained with bordering green lawns and lavish gardens. The Sur le Mont and Solidatus blocks of flats in front of the Renosterkop Ecological Park are well known landmarks with breath-taking views.

This mainly residential area comprises of Murrayfield Security Estate, Oulandsloop Security Village and soon to be Ridgefield Security Estate. Murraypark shopping centre and two filling stations are on your doorstep. Zappas Restaurant and Bistro serves high quality affordable meals and the Alma German Butchery is well-known to all residents.

The Murrayfield Tennis Club and Playground are very popular recreational areas of Murrayfield Park green belt area. Skuilkrans Kopje is yet another ecological conservation area open to the public. Like the other suburbs in the WaterMeyer Pretoria East area there are Guest House Accommodation available as well as numerous day care centres and nursery schools.
